Happy New Year!  Open to the Public @ the Camarillo Library.  Membership in VCGS not required.  Join us for help or to offer help to someone else.  Bring your research questions and a description of the research that you have already done.  General questions and topics for discussion are always welcome.  Shirley Leslie will lead the group in a discussion of what each one’s genealogical focus for 2024 will be.

Topic:  Barriers To Success (Besides Brick Walls) – Get It Off Your Chest!

Now that you’ve set your 2024 genealogical goals, how can you be more productive in accomplishing them? The group will crowd-source solving obstacles that irk us the most when researching our ancestors, organizing materials, or using genealogy tools (such as software), or repositories (like libraries, archives, and online databases).  Bring your current ‘bump in the road’ and let’s see if we can’t help get you over it.
