Field Trip: Los Angeles Public Library
A research trip to Los Angeles Public Library is planned for September 19. This is the largest genealogy library in Southern California as it covers one floor (L-4) of the library. Plus, there are a large number of books that are in the back and can be requested.
Julie Hoffman, a genealogist/librarian will be working that day, and can guide you and answer questions.
We will meet at the Camarillo train station leaving on A770 at 8:10. (round trip ticket for seniors is $12) I will recheck train schedules next week to make sure there are no changes, and send a confirmation email. We return home around 6 p.m.
Email me if you want to be included. It is a fun trip. It is an hour train ride where we can talk about our favorite subject! 🙂
