It's the week of All Hallow's Eve or Dia de los Muertos in which we remember and honor those who have lived in the past. And the physical place where we often turn our attention is the cemetery. Lyn will lead a discussion on researching cemeteries, and class members are welcome to share their stories and experiences. You may have a story of adventure on locating a hard-to-find cemetery, or records that helped you identify an ancestor's burial place, or perhaps something you learned from the process of researching a committal that added to a family story or brought new information to your family tree. You are welcome to share photos as well as your story, and it's best to learn how to do that on Zoom so we can all appreciate them.
[This meeting will be held online with Zoom and an invitation will be sent out to the VCGS Weds Class Yahoo email discussion group just prior to the meeting around 10 AM. If you are not already on the email discussion group you may contact the webmaster at firstname.lastname@example.org to be added.]
